Joshua Dormor

Born and raised in Western Sydney, Joshua is an emerging performer and creative with a clear passion for the arts both on and off the stage.

After graduating ED5 International in 2023, Joshua proudly made his professional musical theatre debut in the 50th Anniversary Australian Tour of Jesus Christ Superstar as Bass Priest, Ensemble, Fight Captain and Cover Caiaphas in 2024 before joining the international touring company of the same production in 2026 performing throughout Asia and New Zealand.

He has also been seen performing on board Sydney Showboats as the Male Dancer, as Gale in Definitely Not A Hungry Game: A Parody Musical, as the Dance Captain for Carols in the Domain as well as performing in a variety of musicals with the esteemed Packemin Productions. Joshua also is an accomplished musician who plays a range of instruments including Piano, Guitar, Drums, Bass, Clarinet and Saxophone.

In addition to his on-stage ventures, Joshua works extensively in both the production and technical side of theatre. Earlier this year he was the Co-Producer and Director of What’s The Buzz: In Concert and Conversation at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival 2026 as well as over the years working closely with Darlinghurst Theatre Company and the Australian Cruise Group as a sound and lighting technician. Creatively, he has also been given the opportunity to work for The Arts Unit and the NSW Department of Education as a choreographer and tutor for Pulse Alive as well as choreograph and create shows for various entertainment companies including Luna Park Sydney.

Joshua also specialises in Artist & Tour Management with Apple Street Music working closely with Australian rock legend Jimmy Barnes & rising talent Ruby Rodgers, most recently working as the Assistant Tour Manager for the Working Class Man 40th Anniversary Tour in 2025/2026.
